Gexian Village cableway hours adjusted to 8:00-18:30 through Oct 31

Per the resort's notice, the Gexian Village cableway runs 8:00-18:30 from Oct 17 to 31. Plan your ride up Mount Gexian in the daytime — don't count on a late-evening trip — and leave a buffer for the descent. The ticket + lantern parade + cableway combo is about RMB 190 for adults. Sanqingshan's Jinsha cableway caps at 6,000 tickets daily; light rain Oct 24-25

Jinsha cableway on Mount Sanqingshan releases only 6,000 slots a day and sells out fast — book ahead via the official "Sanqingshan Smart Tourism" mini-program or OTAs. There is no hiking entrance at Jinsha or Gangshou; walkers must use the Waishuangxi trail. Shangrao is cloudy today (18-26°C) and good for the mountain, but light rain arrives Oct 24-25: pack a raincoat and warm layer, and descend early.

Huangling harvest-drying season hits peak — go in the next clear window

The rooftop "shaiqiu" harvest displays at Huangling, Wuyuan, are at their most colorful now through early November. Shangrao is sunny today (16-24°C), with light rain expected Oct 23-26 — trays come down in rain and mountain fog thickens, so visit today, tomorrow, or after the 27th. There is no hiking route up: entry + round-trip cableway runs about RMB 145-170. Mount Sanqingshan's sea of clouds is also frequent this season; pack a jacket and raincoat.

Wangxian Valley night schedule: lights on at 18:30, bonfire show at 20:00

Wangxian Valley is open 9:30-23:00 with last entry at 21:00. The whole valley lights up at 18:30, turning the cliff-side lodges into a real-life fantasy scene, and the bonfire party (fire dance plus interactive shows) starts at 20:00 at Yangfu Square — cancelled in rain. Adult ticket RMB 140. Enter between 16:00-17:00 to catch both the daytime canyon and the night views, then take the 19:30 shuttle from Daihu station back to central Shangrao.
